City of Discovery Campaign Launches “Young Reporters”

Senior students from Dundee’s high schools are being offered a taste of life as journalists by the City of Discovery Campaign.

Working with the City-wide Student Council, the Campaign has assembled a group of Young Reporters who will provide copy for their own newsletter Planet Discovery as well as for other Campaign publications. The Young Reporters will provide their own unique perspective on life in the city and will help ensure the Campaign’s web site and publications have a lively news content. The first issue of Planet Discovery features on City of Discovery web site www.cityofdiscovery.com

At the launch of the first issue of Planet Discovery the students were given a chance to interview the City’s Economic Development Convener, Councillor Joe Morrow, who said: “The Young Reporters will provide a new dimension to the Campaign’s website and its publications, and the experience will – I am sure – be an exciting and rewarding one for them also.”
